Hand picked dried wild fire morels. These were foraged by ourselves in the beautiful Canadian Rockies.
These wild morels have a strong meaty and earthly flavour and they make a great addition to soups, stews, seafood and meat dishes.
If you fry them until crispy they have a bacon like flavour and texture that can really enhance any savoury dish.
Rehydrate by soaking in room temperature water for 30-45 minutes. Drain and then cook with. You can also reuse water for broth, risottos, soups, or gravies.
